College of Veterinary Medicine to host ‘Hairy Pawter’ themed open house

WHAT: The University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine will host its annual open house on Saturday, April 6. The “Hairy Pawter” themed event will feature a variety of activities, including police canine units; demonstrations by the Purina Incredible Dogs; a Mizzou Quidditch Team scrimmage; and tours of the equine, food animal and small animal hospitals. Child-friendly activities include petting zoos, pony rides, cow milking, goats in pajamas and a teddy bear surgery clinic.

Prospective veterinary students will have the opportunity to interact with current students, faculty and staff and will learn how to become a stronger applicant for the MU veterinary medicine program.
