Media Advisory: Author Tererai Trent to give lecture at MU

WHAT:           As a part of Black History Month and International Women’s Day, the University of Missouri College of Education will host a lecture by Tererai Trent, an award-winning scholar, humanitarian and author of The Awakened Woman—A Guide for Remembering & Reigniting Our Sacred Dreams. Trent will address issues of social justice through education, empowerment of girls and women, and universal access to quality education.
