Anyone participating in the event also will receive a discounted ticket voucher for Mizzou Softball’s game against nationally ranked Florida at 2 p.m. May 5 at Mizzou Softball Stadium.

WHO: The event is open to the public.

The cost:

  • $5 for Mizzou faculty, staff and students
  • $10 for anyone not affiliated with Mizzou
  • $5 for children between the ages of 10 and 12
  • Free for children under the age of 9

There is an additional timing fee of $2.50 for those wishing to run competitively.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 5

WHERE: The race begins at Tiger Plaza—located at the south end of Carnahan Quad—and ends at Stankowski Field.

NOTE: The Inclusive Excellence Mile Run is part of MU’s commitment to the Inclusive Excellence Framework, which is designed to help the MU campus and local communities integrate diversity efforts into core organizational functions. The goal is to serve as an entry point to greater dialogue while expressing commitment to fostering a community where everyone feels welcomed, valued and respected.
