MEDIA ADVISORY: Five exonerees will share their stories and discuss wrongful convictions

WHAT:  The University of Missouri School of Law is hosting “The Exonerated: Surviving Justice,” a discussion about wrongful convictions with exonerees who spent decades behind bars for crimes they did not commit. The featured speakers will be Ellen Reasonover, Joe Amrine, Lamonte McIntyre, Richard Jones and Reggie Griffin.

The event is sponsored by the Innocence Clinic, a joint project between the MU School of Law, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and the Midwestern Innocence Project. The project was launched by the UM System more than a decade ago.

WHO:  The event is free and open to the public
