MEDIA ADVISORY: UPDATE Safe Mizzou 2014 Event Postponed Due to Weather

WHAT: MU’s 14th Annual Fire Factor Room Burn and Pedestrian and Vehicle Education events are postponed due to weather. The simulated room burn that will demonstrate the speed and ferocity of fire as well as fire extinguisher training, a fire fighter challenge obstacle course, seat belt safety display and crosswalk etiquette seminar, will be held later this week.
WHERE: Lowry Mall and Speaker’s Circle, MU campus
WHEN: UPDATE – 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18 (Simulation burn will occur at 11:50 a.m.)
