MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Hosts “Forum on Ferguson,” An Open Dialogue for the MU and Columbia Communities

WHAT: The Chancellor’s Diversity Initiative at the University of Missouri will host a “Forum on Ferguson.” Zakiya R. Adair, assistant professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, will moderate the discussion.

The discussion seeks to engage experts and community members in a respectful conversation about the shooting death of Michael Brown on August 9. Participants will explore the greater historical context and the role of the media.
