MEDIA ADVISORY: MU to Host Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievements Forum

WHAT: More than 130 undergraduates from the University of Missouri and 48 other higher education institutions will present their work at the Undergraduate Research & Creative Achievements Forum. The forum showcases student research and scholarly and creative achievements to the Mizzou community. MU undergraduates from any major and academic level are eligible to present their work.

WHO: Undergraduate students will present their research in a poster session format—more than half of which are funded by the National Science Foundation. Other students are supported by the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Education and Mizzou. Topics include entomology, human genetics, liver disease, obesity, soybean plant genomics, cancer research and environmental studies.
