MEDIA ADVISORY: MU to Award Students, Faculty for Achievements in Diversity

WHAT: Officials from the University of Missouri Chancellor’s Diversity Initiative will award MU students, faculty and staff with 2013 Inclusive Excellence Awards and 2013 MU Faculty Achievement Awards in Diversity. These awards are given to individuals or groups who have made contributions to any area of diversity such as gender, racial-ethnic background, language, religious belief, sexual orientation, disabilities and economic strata.
