MEDIA ADVISORY: Display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt at MU Bond Life Sciences Center

WHAT: Blocks from the internationally celebrated AIDS Memorial Quilt, which commemorates the lives of people lost to AIDS, will be displayed for viewing this Friday through next Wednesday at the University of Missouri’s Bond Life Sciences Center in conjunction with the annual World AIDS Day on December 1st.

The event is sponsored by the MU Bond Life Sciences Center, RAIN, Trail to a Cure and Columbia/Boone County Public Health & Human Services.

WHO: This event is free and open to the public.

WHERE: McQuinn Atrium, University of Missouri Bond Life Sciences Center, MU campus

WHEN: Friday, Nov. 30 through Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Display is open from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
