MEDIA ADVISORY: MU to Host Anti-Genocide Activist to Speak on the Struggle to End Genocide

WHO: Mark Hanis, co-founder and president of the Genocide Intervention Network, will share his experiences in fighting to end genocide around the globe.

Hanis has led a merger with the Save Darfur Coalition to create United to End Genocide, where he currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors.

Hanis’s presentation is part of the Social Innovation Speaker Series at MU. The series is meant to empower individuals, community organizations and policy makers to grow the leaders who have the strength to develop and execute cutting edge, high impact strategies to meet the needs of Missouri.
