MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Organizations to Show Films About Human Trafficking and War in Africa

WHAT:
Two University of Missouri organizations, Stop Traffic and Invisible Children, will show films about the dangers of human trafficking and the war in Africa. Stop Traffic will show “Demand,” a film about how trafficking fuels crime. Invisible Children will show “Grace,” a film about a woman affected by the war in Africa.

WHO:
Stop Traffic is a student-led, anti-human trafficking organization. Invisible Children is a group that raises awareness of the war in Africa and the Lord’s Resistance Army, a militant group that has committed crimes against civilians.
