MEDIA ADVISORY: Two MU Veterans Center Members to be Honored with Department of Defense Award

WHAT: Two members of the University of Missouri Veterans Center will be presented with the Outstanding Public Service Award (OPS). The OPS is the second highest public service award of the U.S. Department of Defense presented to civilians.

Due to their work with veterans on campus and in the community, A.E Rondeau, vice admiral of the U.S. Navy, nominated the two recipients.

WHO: Speakers include:

  • Ann Korschgen, vice provost of Enrollment Management at MU
  • MU Chancellor Brady Deaton
  • Dalton Wright, civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army for Missouri
  • The recipients
