WHAT: A major announcement regarding a gift to the University of Missouri. This gift will benefit the University of Missouri and the state of Missouri by creating a distinguished lecture series. Lecture series speakers will be nationally recognized figures in the areas of economic, science, political and security policies.

- Kit Bond, Former U.S. Senator
- Jack Danforth, Former U.S. Senator
- Warren Erdman, chairman of the University of Missouri Board of Curators
