MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Chancellor to Receive Honorary Degree from Thai University

WHAT:
University of Missouri Chancellor Brady Deaton will be honored with an honorary degree from Khon Kaen University (KKU) in Thailand, one of MU’s partner institutions. KKU is sending a senior delegation to present Deaton with the award.

KKU will recognize Deaton for his career of public service, which began with a stint as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand. A reception will follow the brief presentation.
