MEDIA ADVISORY: UM Officials to Announce First Recipients of Enterprise Investment Program Funds

WHAT: University of Missouri System officials will announce the first award recipients of the UM Enterprise Investment Program (EIP). The EIP supports Missouri-based, early-stage high-tech start-up companies working to commercialize technologies that originated on a campus of the University of Missouri System. The EIP provides early stage funding to accelerate company development and move it toward commercial viability and becoming a stronger candidate for follow-on angel or venture capital investment.

Tim Wolfe, UM System president

Michael Nichols, UM System vice president for research and economic development

Brady Deaton, MU chancellor

WHERE: Life Science Business Incubator at Monsanto Place

NOTE: Media may unload in front of the Life Science Business Incubator, but should park in the parking lot immediately south of the incubator.
